Mr. Olympia is the open division and the winner gets a Sandow. The winners of that division can call themselves Mr. O. Nobody else can. They are the most muscular dudes. Very simple. It is disrespectful to call yourself Mr. O when you don't have a Sandow.
That 2017 Phil Heath was crap. As an ideal of his division he looked way worse than any other division winner. Brianne Ansley for example looked way better as the classic ideal than Phil Heath did to the open ideal.

The original conception of the Mr. O was singular in purpose. Who the best bodybuilder was in the world at the time. It still rings true today, as the open class which was the ONLY class in 1965 and years onwards, represented the single best bodybuilding title in the world, albeit there were heavyweight and lightweight classes even then. Now, there' ONE class in Men's Open, and there is dilution with other classes (like 212 which could be considered light weight and should be part of the OPEN class, I suggest) showcasing at the Mr. O, but lets not forget, that the real spirit of Mr. Olympia is dedicated to the original idea, and it still should represent the one class of bodybuilding today, meaning there is only ONE Mr. Olympia. The rest is marketing bodybuilding and fitness in a different way.
It’s a fact. I love That about bodybuilding. There can be only one Mr. Olympia and 13 men ever to have won. I absolutely love that!!

Just as in martial arts, lower weight classes are essentially the girls team.
To solve the confusion, omit the word 'Mr. Olympia' on any of those division or categories. Just call it as it is e.g..
'Overall winner of Mens Physique Division,' etc thus to prevent anyone competitor from from misusing the title…

They’re still the top of their respected field, so they should be able to call themselves Mr Olympia in my opinion.
Back in the 70s they would make the winner of the light weights compete against the heavyweight winner to decide the winner and that's how frank Zane won so in my personal opinion they should have the winner of each category stand off to decide the Olympia because a 212 or classic physique might look better
