13 minutes, my friends. Today’s new practice is short and invites your Sadhana in with a certain kind of magic. Are you in?

couldnt do the side plank, really tried but my arms were trembling so bad i couldn't hold myself up for even a second. I am only on day 11 of YWA so I am hoping next time this comes around I will be able to complete it properly! I have always said I had cooked noodle arms… proved it today lol

If the bottoms of my palms hurt while trying to do the turning part toward the end, is that from my mat? It wasn’t my wrists.

Day 9 of Balance. That was tough! But not as tough as it would have been 160 days ago 🥰

I kept doing it on a full plank position because I didn't think the whole practice would be push-ups and I was sure there would be something easier afterwards.
I'm so proud of myself but also I feel like i've been roasted by Adriene from thé distance xD
Congrats to us all!!

I’m 3 months postpartum after baby #4. I’ve lost so much upper body strength that just holding a strong half plank was a challenge. I was able to do most of the practice until the last bit. I gave myself grace and promised myself that this is the beginning of the journey and we’ll keep working on this together. So thankful for this channel ❤️

Adriene! You need to go back to the very beginning of this video and watch Benji's expression when you made the comment about his exhaling out right when you encouraged us to do so. He gave you SUCH a look!

I can't wait to come back to this video some day and be able to do it all easily. Today's not that day lol but I'm proud of myself for doing yoga almost daily. I'm trying to get into the rhythm of daily yoga slowly and my goal is to start daily with the January 2022 Move challenge. Keep going everyone, just showing up really does work wonders over time.

I really would like to develop more upper body strength but as my right arm doesn't fully extend or straighten it is difficult for me. I cannot do those one armed shoulder taps although I do hold full planks. Been working around my body's issues for years. I was fortunate to have a committed yoga practice when I was injured.

I had pretty bad Covid in June and have been slowly rebuilding my strength and conditioning since then. It's been a long and frustrating journey. Before Covid I would have found this practice easy. This time around I struggled and found it truly hard. My muscles are already sore and I find it difficult not to focus on the fact that this virus really weakened me, but instead I will try to focus on the fact that I managed to do the entire session, no matter how hard I found it.

I have really thin and long bones so my arms always looked kinda funny. Some girls want to have arms lime mine, but i kinda… Dislike them. I'm trying to learn to accept them and also grow bigger muscles, but it's hard! The biggest problem that I want a job where strength is needed and i can't even do one push up 🙁 But this video made me feel better! I think that this is where I should start my journey 🙂

My right wrist gave out towards the end and full planks, so I did a modified knee version still. Any suggestions on how to restore strength to hurt wrists?
