Instead of wrestling with our past or tangling our thoughts in the unknown details of the future – this type of practice allows us to be disciplined about being present in the moment.
When our awareness is grounded in the present, we are more likely to increase energy and feelings of well being and reduce stress response. Aka – anxiety.

I'm new to this community, have been away from a regular yoga practice for years but started following along on the monthly playlists last month. I loved this one and it went by so quickly! And my social anxiety is gone! 🙂 My only issue remaing: I can never manage to step on my hands up to my wrists; I can only go about halfway up my palms. Help!

Thank you. Started to follow the December Calendar a week ago, so much looking forward to my third time doing the January month <3 Very sweet to be back on track, back on the mat.
The day before and the day of Winter Solstice which we celebrate on, i have been busy and fairly stressed out cooking, and preparing. Then for solstice night we make make a long steep treck down to the beach on our west coast. Today the day after my legs are really sore and I’m fairly tired. The omicron virus is raging and things seem confusing and dark. Trying to keep positive. I am grateful for this yoga practice and hearing your soothing voice. Thank you, Namaste.🙏

thx december Balance calendar for this practice, been skipping many days in a row bc anxiety keeps me in bed for so long every morning, took every breath to not stop the nausea inducing anxiety at mountain pose and im proud i kept going
