You said that he was prepping the last months, but in all honesty he only prepared for 6 weeks after a very taxing WSM win! Super awesome he did it, he can do better with not having a wsm comp before!

I'd love to see bodybuilders go over to crossfit. That would be funnier to watch than the first rounds of auditions on X-Factor lol

I always thought that it would be a cool idea to make pro bodybuilders have 2 side of Olympia, strenght part when off season and the usual posing side for show. Most of theses mass monsters are walking pharmacy and can throw some serious weights around, but that is often never seen by the public.

Specialisation is the reason why records are being broken though. In the 70s WSM was a mix of seemingly random events – that's not the case anymore, so lifters can specialise in a number of events. Same with powerlifting etc.

Front judge should NOT be calling things for depth, that is not their job.

Omar I believe that it would be easier for strongman competitors to transition to powerlifting than a powerlifter to transition to the sport of strongman. Power lifters are good using a barbell that have very balanced loads but indeed these guys have great static strength, strongman has a lot of unbalanced awkward loaded implements as well as needing a ton of endurance since events call for ARAP in a minute or carry medleys. In my opinion strongman training is alot harder to program.

That squat was high all day long. Good to see a strongman take off his wraps and pull a deadlift. Also I am guessing it was an untested evert. Would be great to see Eddie hall get into powerlifting

I want to see the opposite.
A powerlifter compete at the World's Strongest Man Competition.

Powerlifters have no chance to win. They are not big enough.

Strongmen are big and TALL and that makes it difficult at the big 3 lifts.
