99 percent of hips rising are because they should have started in the higher position in the first place. I really believe the starting strength guys are right on this one.
Paused deficit deadlifts performed in a commercial gym without headphones make all other deadlifts easier. You can make them suck more by increasing the deficit, pause, or time spent in a commercial gym without headphones prior to the lift.

omar, should this be used as a warmup to regular deadlifts since they help engrain the motor pattern? or would you say this should be done after the main working sets as backoff sets since it's lighter?
i seen a dude a couple weeks ago doing this and thought "wtf is he doing" then I realized it was 4 plates and thought he might be onto something. anyway thanks for the video on this!

i was think 60% of 1 repmax with good form as soon as you wrote that same time lol. I have ha the GI problem you are talking about only when dead lifting sometimes but oddly feel stronger but probably wrong. this are almost pause dead lifts those are good also.
