Lol at the "you'll shoot your eye out kid.." comments. Squatting is not that tough on the body and it's incredibly common in the sport of weightlifting. We've had our team doing it for years for men and women from nationally competitive to everyday lifters and stayed healthy for years. It takes some discipline not to be an idiot but that's true of anything. Glad Rashid is shedding some more light on the subject.

No disrespect because Mike seems to be a very humble and nice guy who has a very strong physique but since when doing something every single day is good for you. Rest is a key part of the training. I think this is way to much.

Anybody else get a crazy lower back pump when squatting??? Dr said it’s spinal stenosis. Put idk what to do to fix it. Drives me crazy. Even sometimes bending over to change my dogs food and water I’ll get a pump. Or playing defense in basketball for like 3 minutes bammmm. Lower back flares up

I do not think it is wise to do squats every day, if a person do that, they might feel okay now, but a few years from now the person might see the effects of repetitious actions, body parts do wear out if they are over used, the body needs time to recover.

Question , as a personal trainer I always taught my student to give your body a rest (48h between same muscle groups). So basically you're saying that doing 3 sets everyday will increase your squat as long as you don't overdo it ( Which I understand because the more you train something the better you get at ) BUT , how will I able able to rest my legs at all ? Because basically you're still damaging your muscle fibers when doing legs so ? Really nice video though !

I think some people missed the point. Squat EVERYTIME you step into the gym, not necessarily everyday because you obviously need rest days here and there.

So, why are you guys considered strong for squatting 500 pounds. Yet when I squat 505 at 135 pounds. People in the gym called me weak. So I believed it. Then I got hit by a truck and had to quit the gym.
