Recipes:

BREAKFAST egg muffins, Serves 1:
– 3 eggs
– Handful of spinach
– Handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
– 2 slices ham
– Oil for greasing
– Salt & pepper
– 3 slices of bread

Heat the oven to 180 degrees, line a cupcake tin with a little oil or cupcake paper. Shred one slice of the ham and place evenly across the 3 moulds along with the spinach and tomatoes. Then crack an egg in each mould and season. Place in the oven for 5-10minutes until cooked to your liking (it took me about 7 minutes to get them cooked with a runny centre (: Serve with toast, tomatoes, and whatever else you enjoy!

LUNCH Vegetable sandwich, serves 1:
– 2 slices of toast
– 700g frozen mediterranean vegetables (if using fresh vegetables then cut into 1inch cubes)
– 2 tbsp pesto

Heat the oven and cook the vegetables accordingly. If going from scratch, season the vegetables and place in a baking tray with 1-2tbsp oil and cook for 40minutes until soft. Toast 2 slices of bread and add some pesto over the top, them add the vegetables. You can serve with some chicken or feta or eggs if you like (:

Workout:

– Warm up as shown for hypertrophy warm up in
– Glute activation:
– Banded side walks
– Bodyweight hip thrusts
– Hip Thrusts 5 x 10 reps
– Tempo squats (slow on the way down, fast on the way up) 4 x 12 reps
– SS1 – Single leg plyo hip thrust 2 x 10 per side
– SS2 – Plyo hip thrust 2 x 10 reps
– Alternating Reverse lunges 4 x 16 total reps
– Banded donkey kick 2 x 14 per side
– Double Kettlebell swings 3 x 8 reps (1 rep counts for the lower and upper swing)
– Cool down 10mins (some mobility work and static stretches, video coming soon)

I've started my daughter's 90 Day Challenge. Most meals are 600 -700 calories, and days' end totals are closing in on 3k cals per day. Everything I have been taught and learned and read says 800 -1200 MAX for the whole day. I always thought that the 800 was way restrictive, but figured the 1200 was reasonable. When I saw HOW MANY CALORIES AND CARBS were on the menu, I just about fainted. I asked her how come so much food, and she went into the 'balanced' why of it, and she did give some decent detail about it. But it didn't help ME understand it. Nor my stomach……..I just can't eat all the stuff that is on each meal. YOUR videos with "the science of it" is helping me to understand what she said about why so much food. That said, EYE gotta tell ya that I get so tired just trying to eat it all, and my stomach fills up too soon to get it all eaten. AND I AM ABOUT A GOOD 30 POUNDS overweight. And I struggle eating all that food. How does THAT happen? Now. I am 64 and T2D, so of COURSE I don't understand how come so many carbs for each meal, I just try to follow the meal plan, hoping to get it right. What a joke. At the rate EYE am going, the challenge will have come and gone 7 times over and I still won't get it right! I am working on it though. I want to thank you for having such a penchant and passion for the science – ey part of the food quotient of the health journey AND for sharing that penchant, passion and science of it with all of us. AND IN A MANNER we can ALL follow. THAN YOU!

Natacha, I have been struggling so long with my diet and I am only 15. I am not in super bad shape and no one would probably think that I am overweight, but I have been self conscious my entire life. I keep being told from everyone in my family that I need to portion control a lot of my meals but I always end up binging. I would love to eat how you eat in a day, but I just can't buy my own groceries so I feel like my only option is calorie restriction. I know you might just tell me to enjoy my teenage years but unless i see major physical changes i fear im always going to hate how i look. I have no idea what to do, any help would be appreciated. I love your videos!!!!

I love avacadoe and banana on toast I also like eggs for breakfast. You can cut of a peice on bell pepper and then put the egg in the middle and cook it like that. It's easy and you're getting vegetables and protein in one.

just finished this workout and oh my life!! definitely not what I'm used to. I typically work out 5-6 days/week around 40-50min/workout (warm up&cool down included), but I feel like what I usually do is a joke now. :)) and I didn't even do it at full intensity. I didn't have bands, I didn't lift as much as Natacha and I took out the jumps from the plyo thrusts.. but if you think it was easy, you're mistaken (well, it depends on your fitness level)! can't wait to do more workouts from her ♥
this song came up during my workout, couldn't be more appropriate:
