I’ve followed Aaron’s entire career, it seems clear to me that he has blasted peds and insulin non-stop for the last 5-6 years. He over eats and pushes his body to the extreme. He doesn’t have good structure or good genetics, he just pushed the drugs way too hard and this is what happens.

He saw other big time champs, Phil Heath, all the modern Mr. O competitors, and noticed they all had big guts. He figured he’d use what they use to get like them, but he’d be so muscular by the end of it the big gut wouldn’t matter, and he’d be the next hot thing. Unfortunately he went all in way too fast, and in imitating the professionals he attained all their worst characteristics while not achieving their best characteristics. He only put on a little muscle, and a lot of gut and water.

In my opinion guys shouldn’t even be doing what Mr. O’s are doing. They look like shit with distended bellies and poor conditioning. Why would you want to imitate someone who’s just barely been training long enough to have big muscles to compensate for their enormous HGH/insulin bellies? Modern Mr. O’s are pathetic.

Looks like there's something obviously going on in his life. His conditioning looks horrible! Kind of the same situation that looks like happened to Antwan Valiant. Hopefully he gets out of whatever funk is holding him down!

It's igf 1 combined with heavy food intake, the slin has made him look soft… Obviously once tissue is pushed that hard, it's hard to get it to pull b a ck in, undoubtedly he will gain control over his midsection but over a long time span

So it looks as though he's tried to play the size game and failed drastically. Trying to compete in the open he's overcompensated and tried to push his physique over and above his genetic limitations resulting in what we see before us. What gets me is a professional like him should know his physique is aweful. Why compete?

Too much insulin. Yates attested to the fact that although he took it at lower doses throughout his pro career when he upped the dose in his last Olympia showing yes he put weight on but it caused huge bloat at higher levels.

Read up on the medical issues of too much insulin; it causes the kidneys to retain more sodium – bingo massive water retention.

I think only Aaron knows the answer to that question. I can only speculate that he tried to move up to open when his frame was better suited to 212. This caused him to eat too much, bulk too much, and possibly use an excessive amount of drugs to attain a body weight that he isn't really suited for.
