When you are losing weight the sensible way but that I mean, regular exercise and nutrition you should aim to lose between 2 -3lbs per week. As tempting as it is to jump on the weighing scales you are best jumping off them and instead slip into your skinny jeans once a week, if they start to feeler looser then you know you are melting off body fat. So swap the scales for your jeans.
