It’s leg day! This leg workout will help build lean muscle + strength. I’m even throwing in some moves to improve balance and agility. Challenge yourself and incorporate some heavier weights when possible. Get ready to feel the burn!!!
Breakdown: 10 reps x 4 straight sets
Equipment Needed: dumbbells, stability ball + exercise mat or other soft surface.
*Dumbbells are always optional. You can add them or remove them from any exercise. You do you! 🙂 Choose a weight that is challenging but allows you to perform each movement with control and correct form. This weight will be different for each individual! Ball size should be chosen based off of your height. I highly recommend using the ball as it provides additional core and stability work but you can always use a bench, ottoman or perform many of the same exercises on the floor.

Split Squad was until now the heaviest exercise. Meine Beine haben danach echt gezittert .

OMG! At some point, my legs started shaking so much that I had to dance to relax my muscles. 🤣🤣🤣 How about that for a workout? The music was great, so dancing was nice, and after a bit, I could get back to the workout (with loads of adaptations).
How exactly do you get your ball so controlled? I spend the entire time chasing my ball down…

I think I'll call this one 'The Battle of the Ball' 😂 I love split squats but doing them on a stability ball requires a lot more work & concentration….so glad I didn't have a dumbbell in my hands 🙈🤣
