The classic division is a joke because of the judges. So frustrating. Of course Steve Laureus should have won. Hands down more classic.
Wesley doesn’t have the genetics to be a top competitor at the these major shows…even if he improves his conditioning he probably won’t ever be in top 4

Steve laures was best and his conditioning nailed it he should have wonderful easily,if he competed in mens physique he’s a real threat 💪
5th and 6th look like nothing compared to Wesley.
Honestly Steve may have been just a little too small. George's back is massive too so I think that helped him out a lot. Overall though, Steve does look the best on stage.

wesley has as small of an waist line as arnold, arnold never had a small waist but arnold also had rly wide shoulders making waist look smaller.
and i always kinda hate on wesley but this time he should be a litle higer
One or two looks classic (at best) the rest look confused like they don’t know what they are supposed to be- maybe call it the confused division !

Wesley is a top athlete and in general a really cool/nice guy. I think his physique is incredible and among other attributes hes just a top bloke BUT I think because hes big on you-tube with his channel VintageGenetics he was expected to place higher and more people were rooting for him so were upset when he didn't place highly. Also what you see on camera is different to what you see from the judges angle and with the lighting on top of that it complicate things further I would say.
All are nothing compared to Arnold from the seventies.
George is top heavy if he brought his legs to match upper body he wouldn't make weight
George Peterson had a choice to go as a smaller and less muscular 212 or a top of the range but very controversially looking classic physique. his choice landed him a first place. Wesley Vissers looked great but maybe, just as his condition was improved, so could all the athletes conditioning have improved too. I still think based on conditioning, he could have placed a little higher.
George did not deserve to win the Arnold. Not one bit. It pains me to see a division that for once brought a look to aspire for be taken over by some guy that chases after mass, and this is especially the fault of the judges. I hope that they come to their sense and that they have seen your videos regarding their judging, because god knows that classic physique SHOULD NOT be won by a guy that can’t even do a vacuum on command and lacks the same symmetry and classic proportions that his other fellow competitors do. Hopefully by the time the Olympia comes around, George gets knocked down a lot of places and gets made an example of, and that hopefully an optimally classic physique like Steve’s, Keone’s, Chris’, or even Breon’s is able to come victorious.

Wesley is small, with an unimpressive V taper (bad insertions that do make his core look blocky) compared to the other guys. I wouldn’t expect him to do much better, unless he gets some serious steroids to fix that V taper.

I think you got it right on the money with “I don’t think the judges like his physique” he has a great shape but the high lats and and the blocky mid section. Might be holding him back. I think it a structure thing and genetics might not be able to fix it.
