Hello everyone! This lovely little gem is great first thing in the morning or helpful when you just need to move, but can’t commit to a lot. What is something else you do to start your day off on the right foot?

I loved this practice! Such a wonderful way to wake up the body 🙂 One thing I have a hard time with is when there's a countdown during a hard movement and it's not just "3,2,1" but instead is "3, _____, 2, ______, 1" where various supportive sayings are inserted. I love the support, but also find it more challenging to get through the hard movement when I can't actually mentally count down to how long I need to hold it for.

this seems more for people who know all of these poses and are more used to every single one and know how to do them well. Maybe you could make. a version that is easier to follow 🙁 I used to to do yoga classes but its been a few years now so I don’t remember how to do everything right automatically. cant imagine how someone would do this with no prior yoga experience 🙁 unless this is meant to be like that. not easy

Thank you so much, Adriene. I tried it today and I found it a bit fast for me to begin with, but tomorrow I'll try again at 0.75 speed and work from there upwards 🙂

A couple years later, and this is still one of the most lovely routines to begin my day with. Thanks Adriene. 💕🥰

I usually stick to the calendar practices (even if I do jump around the different days to better fit my schedule) and had actually planned to do a 30 min session today. But this morning I decided less would be more. Happy New Year 2022 to everyone 🙂
