To answer who were some  of the body builders you didn't know 1) Dennis Tinerino was on a lot of covers during that era now deceased. I would like to see a video on him some day 2) Casey Viator 3) Tim Belknap I bought a lot of these new when they were first published. Thanks for the videos really informative and well done. You don't run into many people of your age that remember a lot of these old body builders

Nick, might I suggest you board and bag these treasures to keep them in good condition? A great resource for you ( and, by extension, us).

Good memories, had a subscription for years in the late 70's and 80's, and like your dad, have them stored in paper boxes. Just don't have the heart to get rid of them. A shame they were not as open about steroid use then. Beginners bought in to the dream that hard work, gym training, good nutrition,….and you too, can look like this! Yeah, not so much,…but it has been  a good lifestyle all these decades. Personally, I am a better conditioned person for it. Thanks for the flashback, Nick. As always, another good video,….good times.

I think the NFL player was Mark Gastineau, he lead the nfl in sacks one year, also went into boxing after the NFL, but as a hack and had cream puffs lined up for him.

Best way to keep getting source material for your videos, collect as much material as you can. Look for lots daily on eBay, grow a collection.
