I like that Jeremy get's straight to the point. So many YouTube training vids go on for 12 -15 minutes and they say no more than what Jeremy points out in 4 minutes.
"2 plates" yeah he can probably still do 4 plates
Once i was doing dead lift i farted
ha the video happens to be 4:05 long
My favorite lift 🙂
thank you guys appreciate it… today is deadlift for me💪
But now Couch Hamilton has come to the dark side (SUMOOOOO) lmao
I've seen lots of videos on improving your deadlift….never had anyone commented on the bar position relative to your feet!
This was a real game changer for me!
Thanks for the great content Omar.
I wish you got a better angle of the bar position over the mid foot @ 0:53. "mid foot" differs depending on vantage point.
At first I thought this was Pete rubbish just from looking at the thumbnail lol
The problem with this is the fact that his back is bent, and you want as much as your body back from the bar to create leverage. Also your back needs to be as straight as possible or you could damage your back.
new subscriber here .. this is the shizzle 😀
sumo is for beginners
conventional deadlift ftw
jeremy 's calves is horrible
Jeremy would still sumo 600+ just got the fun
"…starting at midpoint foot, and bringing shins to the bar" was my missing link, this dude just helped me out BIG TIME! thanks man, I was always forcing myself to get into position, but this tip, easy as it sounds, truly made a difference.
2:04. Why does the "squat dl" look good to me?
Teach him the hook grip
The strongest couch
Chilled beast!
Omar, you’ve definitely made some significant Gainz since this video haha. You look so much smaller 3 years ago
I would always naturally start the deadlift just as jeremy described it without thinking. So many people have told me I don't deadlift properly because I hardly ever bloody my shins. Lol bro scientists in the gym are fun.
Everything he said was great except for 3:05 where he says he commits to the "pull." Don't think of pulling when you deadlift. Instead, think of pushing the floor down with your feet.
easy for someone who is built for that, i have long legs and will never clear my knees, with short arms
That second tip seems like a way to jerk the bar off the floor and fuck up your form, i dont know about that man.
I feel like for me it works better to start with the bar closer to my ankle.
I feel stronger this way and less pressure on my lower back.
