Yes 31kg isnt a lot when your lifting 180kg or 220kg. But at 470kg. Its like 180kg vs 260kg
We're acting like Eddie's 500 kg deadlift didn't look shockingly easy, but I hope the best for Thor either way, I just really hope that he gets this whole world record thing situated, whatever they decide, even if they make hime wait, I think we'd all love to see him blown 500 out the water given some time

Deadlifts are the LEAST objective lifts of powerlifting. Bar, weight, lift then put down… Officials with MASKS and GLOVES could attend. OR, 3 -5 positioned cameras could be placed Round him to give him official RECORD lift…
I think he will end up doing more than 501 just to separate himself from Eddie Hall just to prove a point.

Funny, I saw that slightly differently, there is a slight carch/slowdown at around the top of his socks, he powers through it then as it gets over his knees he speeds up again. It's very slight, but that has been his sticking point in the past. I'm not 100% convinced he won't get caught there with an extra 31 kilo on the bar. We will see.
