Have you ever tried to "maximize your leverages" on the squat and it just feels awkward as hell? Sometimes it is better to pay attention to internal cues and self organize into stronger positions.
Does a narrow stance squat feel stronger? Go with that, even if you travel a longer range of motion.
Have you been told low bar is the only way you should squat but high bar feels more comfortable, you can train it more consistently and see more progress in it? Squat high bar. This video is for the wide hip boys trying to keep space for their hips to sink down between their legs.

@omarisuf I have been squatting for like 7 years. I changed my stance and technique because I too am a Wide Hipped bro and WOW!! The difference was incredible.. no pain, no stress on my joints and no more lightheadedness!! I really enjoy squatting this way now and feel it way more! Thank you for this video!

I've been struggling with my squat recently and have been troubleshooting what the cause could be. I had a lot of forward lean and never really thought about my femurs. Now that you mention the femurs hitting the acetabulum i think i can actually feel it. If i stand sort of on my toes (barefoot, bodyweight) I can remain almost perfect upright throughout the squat. If I try to do it flat footed I can only throw my hips back, which is limited to above parallel and it's something in that femur/hip connection socket that's stopping it. Gotta do some ankle mobility stretches now and swap back from my flat shoes to ones with heels.

Top Video. I've been working on my squat a lot recently (long femur and very long tibia crew checking in) and traditional low bar squat feels like a daddy long legs being crushed by a dog's paw.

Hi even though your squating between your legs, are you still pushing your butt back slightly, in order to break at the hips, or is it a break at the knees and squat straight down thanks.

Omar. Great video!!! Today I performed squats at 85% ROM for 290lbs x 4sets x 35 reps with a total of 140 reps in just a little under 14 minutes! Rest periods I first two sets was 2 minutes. Sets 3-4 rest was 3 and 4 minutes. Your a scholar of exercise science so variations in ROM has its merits! This is great for muscle hypertrophy and growth. Nerves and joints are getting a rest for now! Deadlifts are on hold too for a while.
If I got a sore lower back from poor squats should I just take a week or so off to make sure it heals properly?

I'm a wide hipped long femured baby boy and lately I've had this nagging pain in my hip at the right leg joint. It's made leg days so nerve wracking as it's gradually got worse and worse. I'm gonna try this and see if it helps (i really hope it does) 🙁
