Lex, I've just come back from the Doctor's with the same problem but with the right shoulder. She prescribed painkillers and to book an X-Ray. I can't hold the bar with my right arm behind my neck to squat. Lateral movement the same. She seemed a bit puzzled at first when she was pushing and prodding my shoulder and upper arm and it didn't hurt. Doe's your's hurt when you lie on the painful side to sleep? She said not to lift any weights and no swimming.

I’ve not been able to do any upper body weights for 7 weeks now as doing chest press got a muscle tear in and around scapula got physio in 3 weeks it’s torture! Just Doing leg days cardio pissing me off! Depressed as fuck!

Lex my man! I am one of them idiots that have stopped training for over a year now due to a shoulder injury. I went from learning to train at 16 to 36 years old and now at almost 38 I have lost so much growth. To top it all I have now struggled with my depression, as the gym was my medication. Have been looking at YouTube fitness videos for inspiration and this one really helped. Will go to gym and start with them tips you gave. Keep up the good videos.

Great video man, few years ago i suffered a serious slap injury in my right shoulder, a lot of pain, surgery and physiotherapy to recover the movements. So this video with this tips and tricks is very good to the other people avoid this kind of problem. #CREW #Brazil

Hey Lex,another great video man. I am currently recovering from a shoulder injury too. I severely strained my rotator cuff and have had to modify my shoulder/chest training.Haven't stopped training at all, just modified,especially when it comes to overhead press and incline bench. Currently going through acupuncture to heal my shoulder. Also lots of stretching/mobility exercises. Thanks for all the great content.

Take two straps and loop them around the bar/and grab the straps and wrap them around your hands to do back squats, I injured my left shoulder and had to do that for a while until it healed! Or use one of those other bars with the handles (not sure what they are called) Shit you gotta do with shoulder mobility issues.
very similar – hate overpaying for stuff, all my trainers have come as almost new off gumtree (20 quid roshes anyone?)

When i overhead press 195 and do shoulders at the end of the day i take hot shower and put tiger balm on and the next day a cold shower and warm up before i go to the gym
I also have bad shoulder/ rotator cuff injuries on both shoulders. It’s killer sometimes and hurt my train. Thanks for pumping me up. #noexcuses

Injured myself (shoulder) for the first time yesterday. Really pissed off. But your video has helped me look at this more positively.
Yoga burn really does work. In the tension free setting like your own home the sky is the limit to how much extra fat you will lose.
