Thank you for sharing these great tips. I am getting more stable doing them but have many times felt off kilter and was also told in high school to look up leading to feeling off balance.Looking forward to trying a lower positioning of the bar to see how that feels.
Awesome info, thanks so much Dana! Will definitely try out the neutral head/neck position. I find my poor mobility in my upper body stops me from doing low bar currently. I do have lifters, and they are total game changers! 💪🏽
f@t b@st@d says = i have fixed my gaze on the muffin tray and gobblin one down after each workin set keeps me primed n being a true f@t b@st@d also sprinkling a tea spoon or two of sodium citrate[daily] has stopped my feet from aching [specially in the morning] and have also tried zeolite [sparinglee ] and its seems good quality dirt and well worth the $20 bag ps it all goes into the daily shake and pallatable [ keep the faith no hairbrush bailey]

ThannkYou Thank You Thank you!!! I have been struggling with my squats for so long. I broke my neck in 2013 and started my journey to strengthen my body with weight training about 3 years ago. I have NEVER been able to do a squat without discomfort until now. I incorporated everything in this video today and I was able to actually feel my squat in my glutes without neck or back pain. Thank you for your advice ❤

I think ankle mobility also plays a huge roll in squat mechanics. I’ll red to drastically increase that ROM before I attempt squats again. But these are all great tips! Super helpful!

Low bar squats is powerlifting… the bar is in alignment with the arch of the foot.. low bar squat becomes more of a back lift which allows you for heavier weight… you only need to descend to parallel to score!
Doyle Kennedy was the first man to squat with over 900 lb… I trained at his gym for 20 years.
Squatting ass to the grass came from Olympic lifting for the squat snatch… split squat came from Olympic lifting for the clean-and-jerk!
Most powerlifters have 4 lumbar vertebrae's… normally you have five… myself I have six lumbar vertebrae's.
