What a shame, if he was a little bit younger we may be talking about an openly gay classic physique Mr. Olympia.
It's hard to beat Zane tho.
What Jojo is this
That's why a city in france was named by his name
It sucks it was a different time back then. I have nothing but respect for the guy and the Bob Paris pose is possibly my favorite pose of all time.
Always been my number 1 bodybuilder.
Bob so underrated ,Frank zane is so overrated .

Handsome man
Honestly Bob looks was an artist I think above an athlete. They confidence he had to sit and take his time, and express with his body. There's something truly wonderful about how he moves. Obviously he's aesthetic as high hell. But there's a grace to how he performs, and it is a performance. I think there's an appreciation for the human form that comes with being a fan if bodybuilding that goes beyond big muscles and veins. There's an art to it, a living and expressive sculpture. But a body builder has the one thing, despite it not always being expressed, that a statue, no matter how hard the sculptur tries, will never have. And that's a soul. A human being sacrificing their life for bodily expression. Thank you Bob for being what all men (and hell all people) should try and be, way before it was cool.
Still think Arnold had best physique, asthetics and genes
How many different types of bodybuilder are there?
I think my top pick of all time was Shawn Ray at the 99' Olympia evening show.
Aaaah the Golden Days!!! When LGBT and Homosexuality was frowned upon and best kept a secret!!! Wish we could go back to those days. IJS…..
Just imagine if he wasn’t gay how many pussies he could banged. So, I am glad he is gay !
At 6:38 Nick a person's sexual orientation it is not a choice but who the person is.
I used to work out at Worlds in Waikiki in the 80 s………..his pic was on the wall of fame there working out at the Waikiki gym…….wish I had been there that day…..to me he is one of the greatest……the highest compliment I can give him is that he was one of the bodies I wish I could have looked like more so then Lee Haney etc….

Chest not even?
This men let me question my sexual orientation.
🤤🤤🤤
Thnx Nick, I totally agree: Bob Paris was really the best poser.
Dont get me wrong but i think shawn ray is the most aesthetic bodybuilder ever
Bob Paris had God-Like physique
Bob Paris is the GOAT
He reminds my of a Bigger Version of Frank Zane (minus the super shred)
Here I am watching a video on what I have memory of Bob Paris being the first man I heard about in bodybuilding. It was not Arnold like many others. I remember I didn’t even speak English at the time and there was a YouTube channel in Spanish and the guy talk about him and for some reason I because really obsessed with Bob and his physique!! He will always be my 2nd favorite bodybuilder after Lee Labrada but he’ll always have that position of being the man who actually inspired me and my body!
Zane and Mentzer are the perfect athletes to compare him to.
Great job Nick!
