what i like about this guy is he doesn't give an unrealistic idea of what kind of body a person can get, also he doesnt just say everybody who has a better physique than him uses steroids and tells the truth about building muscle/ loosing fat: aka genetics and then hard/ smart work.
Hey Omar, Could you bring Dr. Isretal back to discuss his volume and hypertrophy episode that was on your channel before, but in context of someone who does manual labour, such as a construction worker. Does the physicality of the job affect the programs volume, hypertrophy, and intensity? I assume they would require more rest and recovery.
Barbell rows and dumbbell rows are the best back exercises for depth and width. If you want to widen lats do a wide grip pulldown, if you want to thicken then do a T bar row but neither of them are as good as barbell/dumbbell rows for adding BOTH density and width

I relate so much to this. I have a large bust and narrow shoulders which combined together make my posture look sloppy. Right now I am working on building out my deltoids to counteract this look because I know nothing short of surgery is going to make my chest smaller.
Anyone care to give me some input on the idea that wide grip pull ups will target the "upper" lats and teres major and close grip pull ups will target the "lower" lats? I have read this multiple places now and Brad Schoenfeld even has an article on this idea. Also, Arnold said this, so it must be true right? 🙂
If I train full body 3x/week, would it be wise to do both close and wide grip pull ups each session in order to maximally target the entire lats?
So instead of alternating between close and wide every other session like I do now, I am thinking of switching to 3×8 close grip and 3×8 wide grip EVERY session. Is this a good or bad idea?

I used to hate pull-ups, but I forced myself to do 4 sets of them as a "warmup" every day I work out and it has built my lats quite a bit actually and I love it now.
