Needed a DL variation for a Candito 6 Week workout. Think I'm gonna go with these over snatch grip DL, stiff legged DL, or pause DL.

increases leg drive and hamstring strength, also pulling strength, great variation

My gym only has plates with a diameter that`s about 3cm smaller than conventional plates so whenever I deadlift I'm actually doing deficits, how much more can I expect to pull with normal plates?

Should these be done as assistance sep from main deadlift session? I"ve been doing them for my main deadlift session once a week but I switch to no deficit during a session when the weight gets heavier.

I have been doing 2.5 deficit deadlifts. Wish my gym had chains because my lockout could be stronger.

i thought you'd do light weight for the deficit. I just did my deadlift today and I'm done, 440×2. Its not that heavy, I just saw one guy do 705….i suck, lol any who. goddam you lift heavy for the deficits, is that how its suppose to be? Im thinking of adding this, but I'm fried after heavy deads. I dont wanna do it again until next week. I usually do accessory work sunday, liight weight, high reps for legs. This doesn't look fun though lol I wanna do it, but will I get benefits if I just deficit 225 for reps?

My gym only has small, thick plates, so I do deficit by default. Glad to hear that it actually might be a good thing… 😀

Weird but, why do i have a natural straight back? I've try rounding my back with light weight to mess around, but it seems to not work. Im proud of myself.

Thank you. And as a suggestion for those of us who workout at home, use 35lbs plates rather than 45lbs. It lowers similarly,
