The top pros today are simply too thick. Past a certain point, waists simply get larger with weight gain, no matter how lean the bodybuilder…

Many, if not most of the Golden Era bodybuilders, also couldn't hit a decent crucifix pose. It's also interesting to note that Mentzer was actually one of the first guys who did heavy resistance on abs, so having a muscular waist isn't the ptobem..It's structure…some/most guys just don't have the right structure for a crucifix.
Vacuum and crucifix pose goes together like milk and cookies – or test and decca.
Modern bodybuilders look terrible compared to the likes of Mike Mentzer and others back in the day…

Honesly who wanna have a body like phil heath when you have a classic body that looks like a greek god type of body big arms chest small waist and average sized legs that makes upper body looks amazing

Really Winkler uses much to much fake tan to the extent that it hides his muscles? Yes I know he has a naturally dark skin but nevertheless he uses much to much of fake tan when given his already dark skin is really unnecessary just my old man opinion ,79 going strong!?

Mike mentzer was the absolute father of the pose, nearly you can't hear the name of the pose without Mike coming to your mind.
