And when you watch the 95 Arnold Classic he really does look, from the off, the clear winner. Great physique.

I saw Mike F. win his Arnold classic in 95. Very impressive. Too bad his competitive days were limited due to health issues.

He got health problems because he ate far too much red meat, steak all day long.

0:40, 1:02 Nasser El Sonbaty is looking gorgeous! In contrast to his later mass-monster days.

Unprecedented to achieve those results. His back is what won it for him when compared to the other competitors. Great arms too. Too bad about the colitis.

Even for today's standards Mike François was amazing during the 1995 Arnold's Classic he won. But I noticed that the years after he was loosing control of his gut and his conditioning wasn't as good. Like many bodybuilders he most probably did the mistake of wanting to grow instead of aiming for more definition and conditioning. Th bubble gut is mostly caused by growth hormones. In Mike François case it got even worse has he was ill with ulcer colitis. The illness got the better of his career, but at least he was able to shine on stage in his lifetime. The illness wasn't able to rob from him all his glory. A very good souvenir to have on film for bodybuilding enthusiasts.

A true geneticly gifted bodybuiler born to compete it's such a shame he had to retire early. The 1995 Arnold classic version of Mike is still one of the best physiques ever in my opinion.

I didn't notice it back when I saw him first competing, but his physique has similarities to Dorian. If he had a few more years in the sport, he could have been an Olympia threat.
