Hey im new to this whole fitness thing and i recently started with insanity max 30 workout program. Is it good for losing weight and building atleast a bit of muscle?
maybe do a video on 10 foods people think are healthy that aren't or 10 foods that people think are unhealthy that are actually healthy?

Definitely put the cheat and recover to my workouts and can say it's great! I have implemented the cheat and recover method in my shoulder routine and aspects of my chest and back days. I personally like the program by design and I feel like it is a strong program for those of us that start to hit a plateau. Great program I am interested to see where it takes me.

ScottHermanFitness Hey Scott. been doing the cheat and recover for about a month now. my goal is to gain mass as well as muscle hypertrophy. i must say, this method is extremely effective as i have gained a lean 15.6 lbs in that time frame and have been marking my measurements with steady gains every week. in addition of course in a caloric surplus monitoring macros (also used your formulas for that too). oh and no shot you take steroids, you definitely look natural and have too much knowledge to get into that stuff so continue to do what you do and take it as a compliment when haters say you do. in terms of the cheat and recover effectiveness though, i really think it is the type of overload that allows the muscles to respond in such a positive way, sometimes for hypertrophy form needs to be compromised slightly to maximize load, but that's where the recover sets come in, really great idea. i look forward to seeing new C&R workouts. one request. can you also offer exercise variations so we can substitute to avoid repetition? i usually create a 1A/1B version of a workout using the same training method but with differrent excercises to make sure im not doing the same ones all the time. thanks and look forward to your response and more videos! love the DBZ references btw, waited forever for the english dub of super to come out, fought every fiber in my being to watch the japanese version with english subs.

I've been doing cheat and recover and enjoying it. Wow, you just doing that for me.
I've been lifting for 1 year and have gained a lot of size just by doing sets of 12 perfect form but my gains have started to slow down. I have tried cheat and recover once for a back workout and It was awesome. If I did cheat and recover only training each muscle once per week would I make new gains?. p.s I'm in a caloric surplus as well. Also how many exercises would you do per muscle using cheat and recover if only training each muscle once per week?, when you say 5 sets per exercise, is a set 8 reps of cheat + 8 of recover for a set or is a set 8 reps of cheat, wait a bit and then 8 reps recover for the second set?. Sorry for the long question. 🙂
