To be honest once i did heavy deadlift 1 day i start feeling alot of pain in my lower back and i stop training for 1 freaking week after that i deadlift with normal weight and good form and i havnt seen any type of pain bcz of normal weight and good form in forms i really do believe bcz i have experienced these kinda pains
pain in joints bcz of wrong form pain in shoulder bcz of same things after now after a year i have fixed forms
the reason it took me year to fix bcz i was having no partner or instructor for advice so i want all of you guys to do exercise no matter heavy or light but your form should be perfect or atleast good otherwise you know the rest

Small central L5-S1 disc bulge, mild DDD, high intensity zone compatible with an annular tear. Those are degenerative changes occurring over months to years. Need to see the axial cuts to better evaluate for stenosis.

Well actually you want to round your back as much as possible when deadlifting so you could work out all your disks. Duh. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have creatine to snort

I had my first bulging disc at 14 after I punted a football in my friends backyard. Felt a pop and nothing was ever the same since. Made it worse when I fucked my back up more trying to squat as a freshman in high school. I rolled with the punches and fought through then chronic pain and limited mobility. I managed to still play Varsity football and wrestling all 4 years. Later in life in my 20’s now i’ve managed to still Bench in the 400’s, conventional deadlift 600lbs (at one point), and squat a little over 500lbs. Some days I wake up feeling pretty good (never perfect) other days I roll out of bed and won’t be able to stand up completely straight for an entire day. What I have learned is that there are movements and things I can do, and others that i should not do. Will I walk when i’m in my 50’s 60’s 70’s? Who knows. Everyday is different.

I just would like to add an update to this. I still have permanent damage obviously but I've been doing mobility work and riding the pain of the stretch at the injured area to the point where it's pleasurable to stretch it.

We wuz masochists.

holy shit. you said 'this is 2014'. my brain shut off for a second when i realized that's 7 goddamn years ago. jfc

fantastic video and i'm glad you focused on this particular case. it's all too easy for people online to dismiss injuries as bad lifting (which is true to an extent). you don't often see people reminding others how easy it is to fall into bad form without even realizing it. keep that ego in check!
