I hit shoulders extremely hard yesterday and was looking for something new to finish them off. This exercise did the trick. It puts constant tension on your front, medial and rear delts throughout the entire movement because you have to hold the weight stack in the air the entire time.

Try 4 sets of 15 reps per arm at the end of your next shoulder workout! #HTH #MuscularStrength

I've seen something similar for rotator cuffs. Keep forgetting to do it.

Hey Scott my front delts are pretty good but recently i've seen that my side delts are very underdeveloped, are upright rows using an ez bar and side dumbell lateral raises the best to build them? Thanks, any other suggestions?

Scott, shouldn't you take care in overextending back behind your head like that, it appears as though it may not be such a natural postion for your shoulder to be in….

It would really be helpful if u could suggest something to improve grip strength and also improve overall strength of non dominant arm… for example i am a left handed person and i often feel my right arm getting tired more easily and miss out last 2-3 reps of the last set…. ( i am a beginner and it has been around 30-35 days since i have started working out)

Looks like something nice to try out, but I would rather prefer (IMO) the simple routine to build massive shoulders…Shoulder military press with barbell…… exercise will allow you to push the most weight, and you can progressively overload the muscle.Could even do a variation and do a push press instead to move even more weight to really hit those shoulders nice and hard..

It pisses me off how Mike Chang has more subscribers and views than Scott. Mikes videos are irritating, and he brainwashes gym noobs into buying his rubbish products. Scott makes the best weight training tutorials on youtube.

0:05 Scott's accent changes to British when he says more, and Australian when he says barbell

It's like a front raise and face pull fused

What if I don't have that machine at my gym? Is there another way to do this? A barbell maybe?

Tried that today and let me say it's a shift. Could only manage 3 sets but that's fine. It was a great burn to finish. Also a really good workout if your strapped for time. Thanks Scott.
