Hi guys I’ve starting doing planks, and I would like to know how many times per day/week it’s ok to do it. Right now I’ve started a week ago doing it one time per day (for around 3 minutes). Is it ok or is it too much doing it so often?

Thanks!

I want to start off by saying I love your YouTube videos, they are really helpful.

My question today is about over training. I have been going to the gym almost a year now, typically I’m there 5-6 days a week, day off usually mid week. Some people say it’s too much. What’s your advice on this? Should I rest more often with my goal being to gain mass as I am 65kg 5 8′ trying to get to 70KG.

Looking forward to your reply! Thanks!

Hi Scott and Sean. Good day! To begin with, just want to let you guys know that both of you guys rock! I also like imitating Scott’s “TSSSSS!!” thing and it works for me. I’ve been working out for 6 months since the day I’ve started watching Scott’s vids. My original goal was to build muscle mass and was able to nail it down. My arms got bigger and I was able to make my chest grow. I work out 4-5 days a week and barely do cardio (10mins just to increase my heart rate). Now, I’ve noticed that I still have some body fat on my side waists and I weigh 157lbs, stands 5’6″, 34inch waistline and I’m 21yrs old. I’ve calculated it and that’s approximately 19-20% body fat. I’m currently changing my goal to reduce that to at least 7-10% but I don’t know where to start. I can change my eating habits too anytime. So, where should is start? I also crave for that 6-pack abs.

P.S.
Scott please keep making vids! 🙂 All hail Hermanites! Oh, one last thing, if Scott is Capt. America then Sean can be THOR! haha!

@kmsptz you can't, the shape or way your bicep grows depends on the person, and to be honest, having a gap gives it more of a 'peak' so it looks taller

@kmsptz Everybody does. It just gets smaller as you gain muscle in your biceps. Also skinnier people tend to have a bigger gap there.

@fazer12779 Portion it. Don't have meals. Plus stay away from fries, they have too much fat. Also stay away from coke, too much sugar. And get chicken instead of beef sandwiches, less fat.

Woa!, its freaky how much Scott looks like a younger version of the guy who owns the Crossfit gym I go to. Check out Eric Stratman at TNLTampa and you can see what I mean.

@abdulios I stay away from sugar, grains, processed food and the fried crap, but I eat tons of fat in the way of avacados, coconut products, grass-fed beef, bacon, and Kerry Gold butter(I love Bullet Proof Coffee during the winter months), but I stay pretty lean and have lost a lot of belly fat on my diet. Eating fat does not lead to gaining fat and "Calories in, Calories out" is a myth.

@fazer12779 Wheat and bad oils(soy, corn, canola, safflower, sunflower, peanut, cottonseed) not good fat(avacado, coconut, grass-fed beef and dairy, olive oil, palm oil) and salt(although restaurants tend to oversalt food)should be more of a concern when eating out.

Hershel Walker is the football player your Dad was talking about. He now does something like 10,000 pushups a day. Check him out when you get a chance Scott.

@kmsptz I'm not Scott or Sean, but here's my take on your question anyway. A lot of it is genetic, but you can do dumbbell bicep curls (either concentration curls, standing or sitting curls – doesn't matter) where you twist your wrist as you curl. In other words start with an overhand grip at the bottom of the movement, and twist your wrist to an underhand grip while you're curling and reverse the movement on the way down. Also, hammer curls and any forearm work will help with that.

@kmsptz If its when your arm is bent and flexed bicep, its normal. Everyone has it and when you turn your hand to face outside, it moves. Everyones bicep is like that. If your arm is straight and it does that, I dont know. If you need to know anything else just reply, or send me a msg.

Glad I discovered this film. Really enjoy You tube because of this sort of stuff. My relative was previously bullied. He stated he was intending to get bigger muscle mass. I laughed… Right up until he added 40 pounds of genuine muscle mass. He tried the Muscle Building Bible (Google it). He does not get bullied any longer. I actually subscribed earlier this week. See what goes on. Not to mention the guys emails are cool!!!
