Root To Rise Yoga | Yoga With Adriene – Yoga With Adriene

by YouTube Team

A 33-minute practice to ground physically and energetically. In this session, we will focus on using the power of breath and movement to create equilibrium from the inside out. This practice is ideal if you have been feeling off-center, or out of a routine that feels supportive. A perfect jumpstart to your day… or to your year. The hardest part is showing up. Take 33 minutes to go on a little journey to ROOT to RISE again. I will meet you there.

Nourish day 22,this has been one of my favourite with gentle various poses, none of them seem difficult even I can stand in tree pose better in this practice with no harm or strain on my body and best of it is the last one which is real energy booster!

I have been trying to focus on showing up to practice – no matter how tired or dreadful I feel. I think to myself “just show up. You don’t even have to do the session, just show up.”
I went through the whole practice and honestly, I’m shocked I made it. My body knows what’s up, daily practice has helped with that. I’m glad to be training my mind so that I’m able to practice this mindset with other things. My hardest practice has been to just show up despite what my brain wants to say. Thank you for being the most amazing teacher, in more ways than just yoga. Much Aloha to you, to all, WE DID IT!!!! We showed up! That’s half the battle sometimes. 💚🌺

Thank you, Adriene. Today is the day before thanksgiving in the US. My mind wandered to my shopping list, chores, and the friends and family I will see tomorrow.

I am ever grateful for you, Adriene. For several years, you have been there for me when I just didn’t have the energy or motivation for my self guided practice. You have helped me through grad school, through a doctorate program, through countless deaths, and through happinesses such as my wedding and the arrival of me dear sweet kitten (no longer) Ms Sonja Rose. You will be there for me when my old boy (cat) dies… he is starting to have significant health declines… you will be there for me as I continue to grow and change as a professional, as a spouse, as a (cat) mom, as a human.

Thanks is just not enough, but please take this offering of gratitude and love on this thanksgiving.

My first YWA session – loved it. I'm putting a comment on the ones I have done so far. It is now the 21st of December which means I'm always a full month in with yoga every day!

Today marks the first anniversary since I've practiced yoga w/ Adriene and have joined this awesome yoga community. Daily yoga practice has kept me sane during endless lockdowns here in Melbourne. Comments from every corner of the world reminds me I'm never alone practising – there's always someone out there feeling this is awesome, or oh man this is hard, or my core really hurts, or what is this Adriene??, or yogi bicycle is really hard but my core muscle is getting stronger every day. Thank you everyone for doing yoga with me, thank you for sharing your thoughts/ journey, thank you Adriene – Looking forward to the many years of yoga to come!
