This guy is amazing. As a female, training used to get a little confusing. Not anymore. He keeps it simple. I've learned a great deal. Thanks!

I remember the first video that existed of Omar, where he was like " guys summer is coming and I am going to get lean. The difference between you and I, I am actually going to get lean". I was laughing my butt off. I hook my "X" girl to watch his videos, and behold she is today a gym rat, I mean she is a runner.
Omar PEACE…

Found a new way to rustle peoples Jimmies……go to either a CT Fletcher or Kali Muscle video….and support them in the fact that they are natty(obviously not)….anyone who has any real experience training whatsoever will have their panties in a bunch….guaranteed.

Omar how did you add the "Akira Lives" stitching in your inzer belt?

Insanity was a great way to get in shape, boost cardio, gain abs, burn calories fast and lose fat. Doesn't do anything for you for strength training so you gotta do some lifting at the gym. Of course you could just go on a cut to get them abs but if you want that good cardio training then I recommend it.

I disagree with the advice on bands to activate the glutes. I participated in a functional movement seminar not too long ago. During the seminar, I asked the very same question and they showed that individuals who tried this actually injured themselves through the valgus forces on their medial collateral ligament. Individuals are to be taught correct form, rather than using bands to "teach" them how to activate their glutes

Doing a squat with a band around their knees will only make their knees cave in more if their form is bad already. If their weak abductor muscles are the problem of the squat, noting that their knees are caving in already even without a resistance band, how are their abductor muscles going to be capable of withstanding the force due to the band, in addition to the squat?

Hodgetwins do it based on their opinions. They are professional sports medicine, but they still implement their own opinions. Omar is good. Elliot Hulse includes strongman psychology, which is why he always talks about the central nervous system coming into play. biig j is great, but idkwtf he says

Omar, I've been bodybuilding for 4 months, I have had a sedentary life of sitting down 5+ hours per day drinking 44oz soda's everyday, I gained weight to around 180 at 5 foot 7 inches, I had to get my appendix removed and decided to remove soda and eat healthier and am now down to 150-155 roughly, I've been bodybuilding as I lost fat so both in 4 months, I've been kinda strict on getting protein but I seen gains the first 2 months but none as of now, can you help? I still gotta lose more bodyfat

Little harsh on p90x. It's a great program and teaches you how to properly lift weights and push yourself in order to get results and be healthy.

Reply
Programmer 47 July 3, 2013 - 5:48 pm

p90x is only like 15 bucks now tho lol

Reply
Programmer 47 July 3, 2013 - 5:50 pm

i completely disagree. It jumps straight in without properly teaching movements and i find it very dangerous because most individuals resorting or using that program are extremely overweight as it is. My dad hurt his shoulder doing it. Dangerous unless exerpienced. And a waste if experienced.

Your appendix weighed 25-30lbs? Really, congrats on the weight loss. Hard to lose fat and gain muscle. Do one at a time, slowly, as Omar describes.

Yes it did but right now everything is better however, I still can feel it at some occasion. Could be my form that caused this! Thanks for the reply anyway

Foam roll that back bro, you'd be surprised how much of a difference it actually does. Should loosen it up. The more you improve form, the better your bench will become!

I think that's just how elliott's thought pattern goes, and so go his videos. I don't think he's trying to be deep or anything, he just is willing to go where ever his attempt at answering takes him.

I find myself watching Elliott for inspiration/motivation and Omar for how-to and because he's funny.

Hello OmarIsuf

Can I ask a favor? I really enjoyed your video Prison Workouts, Yo-Yo Dieting, Muscular…………
It was really informative. I wanted to find out if it was okay to repost your videos to my channel? All credit for the videos will still remain yours, and I will not edit the original video, unless you give me permission to do so. I can even keep the links in the video, as this will give you additional exposure. If this is acceptable to you, please let me know.

Thanks,
Katherine

yeah its very true. I like omar's concise flow of answers while elliott always gets caught up in his own ideas and his videos end up being 8-11 minutes on one simple question
