The record is actually 744.1 lbs for bench now Maddox broke his old record a month or so ago
Those are those dodgy hexagonal shaped plates that all the fake lifters used. I'm not saying he cant bench that weight but you'll notice that all the other weights in the gym are normal round ones. If the whole gym had hexagonal plates it wouldn't look so suspect.

It gets so much more difficult to bench more after a certain point, like a 290lbs dude can bench 680 but it takes a 450 dude to bench 740
