I left very motivated, happy, and with an overwhelming since of appreciation for what I have.
I also felt humbled. I was amongst the spirit and descendants of our ancestors that said enough is enough. They said we are not slaves, and fought for freedom against one of the worlds largest superpowers. The French government under the rule of Napolean Bonaparte. And the beat him into submission. They met in the forests at night, to invoke guidance from the Oguns. They planned, plotted, strategized and mobilized. They fought for freedom. With the mentality of Freedom or death. I feel that so deep in my damn soul…
Their stories are not mainstream. Not taught in most school books. I never learned about it in school, and I was an honor student….
Real history, accurate history has to be sought for…
That’s why the team and I are traveling the world to find these stories and to tell them. It’s not just good for blacks in the diaspora, it’s good for humanity. Remember, the spirit of these people, built pyramids, with ancient technology, and no modern machinery. They also built one of the most impressive structures in the world, the Citadel Laferriere. This was built by people that where kidnapped and forced to do slave labor, who fought for freedom. They turned around and built the most impressive fort on earth with no modern machinery. And might I add they built it on top of a mountain….
this is also the people who helped make America the leader of culture throughout the world. I’m speaking of the people of Alkebelum (what you know as Africa)
I want to do my part to erase racism. Out method is to provide accurate history and education so that respect is given, and we don’t forget how ugly humanity can be. We need to avoid any repeats of some of the worlds holocosts.. we need to embrace LOVE!!!

not quite true about the failed slave revolts in the US. Haiti is an island, the enslaved people outnumbered the oppressors, and france was caught in a war. Haiti was able to successfully take back the island and make it theirs while France had to pull back much of their military might to fight the wars in Europe. The US is a massive country, it was impossible for slaves to take over the entire country and send the oppressors packing. Big ups to Haiti but lets not downplay the major fight in the hearts of our ancestors who were enslaved in the US. There was much more at play than "people snitching"
The sad part of the lie that they told is that none of us on the Western hemisphere are from Africa. Black people are indigenous to the Americas including the conjoining islands. I'm going to type a reference, but they won't let me say the Spanish word for black so I will replace it with "black", but you put the spanish word for black in place. Google (America was a "black" continent), then go to images. Google (Arnoldus Montanus America), then go to images.

When I'm away from the capital of Haiti, that's what I wake up to when I'm home in Haiti, I have the coconut trees, mangos and sour sop as well. Imagine getting your fish fresh from the backyard when the sea is right there. I only eat seafood when I'm home I love and it's life.
I said it in the last video and I will say it here again. Thank you for schooling them, even some of my own people sleep I live in NYC but I'm always back home enjoying that natural nature. Once you put foot on that soil something mystical and electric energy takes place within it feels so good it's almost emotional.
