My best friend & college roommate shares how she loves her body as a NURSE 💞 – Tone It Up

by YouTube Team

This new video at is extra special to me! I want to introduce you to one of my best friends from college, Kerry! Kerry and I met at freshman orientation and then we were roommates. We immediately bonded over fitness ~ we went to the campus gym together, she introduced me to spinning, and she was always front row in all the classes I taught. She helped me make amazing playlists, too!

After we graduated, Kerry went on to nursing school, and I was so proud of her! Now, Kerry works hard day in and day out to care for others and keep them healthy. For her, fitness is a small slice of time that she can dedicate to herself.

Watch her video and give Kerry some love! And a special shoutout to all our TIU nurses, night shift nurses, doctors, and caregivers who work so hard every day to keep everyone healthy and still try to find time for themselves. We love you and appreciate everything you do💗🤗

xxo,
Kat

Hi babes!! This video is very close to my heart! Kerry is one of my best friends and such a special TIU girl and nurse. She says she comes to our TIU shoots for the snack table 😉…but I know it's because she loves the Tone It Up community so much and supports every one of you! Give Kerry some love today!  xxo, Kat

Thanks for coming on here and sharing! I am a nurse too on a high-acuity floor for 3.5 years, and I definitely feel burnt out already and I am only in my 20s. My 2018 goal is to get back into yoga and fitness to help de-stress and become a better me 🙂

Great advice! I can relate to when she said that she uses exercise as a way to relieve tension and stress from the day. I do the same and it makes such a huge difference mentally and emotionally!

Gosh her teeth dazzled!!
I was a nurse until I had an injury and I realised I loved people but not so much nursing and retrained as a life and mindfulness coach. Even though I run a completely different business now I do still take on clients and I love coaching still ✨
Nursing is one of the most challenging roles a person could take on and whenever I am having a tough day running this international business I find myself uttering well today was a good day because at least nobody died on me 🙏🏼 puts things in perspective

I love this!! I am also a nurse! I rotate between days and nights, so most days I am exhausted to fit in a workout. I try to workout on all my days off and make my fitbit goal on my days of work! <3
