Low Impact Home HIIT Workout (Easy On The Knees) | The Body Coach – The Body Coach TV

Lots of people have asked me for a workout that is a little bit more friendly on the knees, so this one is just for you.

This HIIT session takes 16 minutes and is aimed at being more low impact than some of my other videos, with less stress on the knees.

However, if any of the exercises are still too much on your knees, miss it out and replace it with another exercise that is more comfortable for you.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Do each exercise for 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds rest, repeat each exercise 4 times.

– Glute bridges

– Punches with 1 knee

– Ankle touches

– 3 uppercuts with 1 kick

– Superman squeeze

– Straight punches

– Overhead punches

– Walk down, press, stand-up

I hurt my knee doing reruns of PE with Joe… he didnt let me down, knew he'd have a workout for me in the back catalogue which would be easy on the knees. Thanks Joe, 👍

Great workout, my heart is pumping. I have 2 x partial knee replacements so am always looking for low impact workouts that get the heart racing whilst I’m avoiding the gym. I’d love some more that work on the upper leg muscles to strengthen the knee joints. Thanks 😊 you’ve set me up for the day……

that was great but i do have a little bit of pain in my new today, and i would love for to come zero knee workouts, without even the kicks. they were making me a bit nervous

Hi Joe – Thnks for all your workouts . You have a really infectious style. I have to be careful and do low impact workouts so this was great BUT I am losing my 'bounce' as a result e.g. can't get down to floor and up again very fast or without using my hands to push me up. Any tips or workouts for recovering that muscle responsiveness and bounce?

I did your other15 HIIT training with lunges for 4 weeks… I get knee pains when squatting down. It has been like this for a week now, hopefully low this impact HIIT will be better.

Yes please more of these! I did all your workouts last year and love them but now I've got plantis fasciitis so anything low impact but makes you sweat and gets heart rate up would be amazing! 🙂

March 18th – Hard to do the first move while laughing…! Added hand weights to make it a bit tougher. Session 70 for 2021.

Love this video, really helps to have a good workout to turn to when my knees are hurting. Just wondering if you would be able to make more videos like this, in particular that are easy on all the joints? I have problems with my elbows and shoulders too so can't do anything in high plank.
