Great Interview! I found the news that Flex Magazine discontinuing kind of sad. Its obvious that the number of people who train for size and looking freaky is getting smaller and smaller. I find this disappointing. I have been training for size and muscularity over strength for over 35 years and I have noticed the trend to train more for strength or so called functional training is more the norm in the gym. Most of the younger guys train allot different than how I use to train when I was their age. I would go heavy but never ever dip below 5 reps on anything. I knew that doing singles, doubles and triples would not lead to much size. I've also noticed most people rarely if ever train to failure on any of their sets anymore. I will continue to train the way I use to do as best I can. Hopefully, down the road hardcore size and freaky muscularity training will make a come back.
