by YouTube Team

I tried a week of Intermittent Fasting to see how it made me feel and how it would fit into my lifestyle. Intermittent Fasting: Science Explained is just a thumbs up away ☺️

I feel like I do this accidentally (with like a later period of time) because of my school schedule (one more year of grad school, and then I'm done), and it totally does not work for me… I'm underweight, grumpy, and I'm less motivated to workout (not just because of my schedule). I am actively trying to change my diet scheduling, but it's hard to do because of my lifestyle. I love your channel because it really is helping me come to terms with what I'm doing with my eating habits and you've encouraged me to reach out to my doctor and a nutrition counselor to help me fix these habits that aren't working for me. Thank you! 💕

I love how on the 7th day Natacha begins saying that she can’t believe how a week has already gone by and that she felt like she just started her week of intermitern fasting and I’m sitting here like, yeah this video has gone by so quickly. I feel like u just said that u were going to start intermitern fasting like 2 minutes ago! 😂

Hi! I really appreciate everything you do in your videos, because you try everything on yourself and it is not always an easy task. I love your channel, by the way!

Well, cool if you don't want to implement it, but by saying that there is no rigorous evidence that suggests that IF is good you're just spreading misinformation and putting off people who could actually benefit from it. Btw. you're eyes are gorgeous!

this is a perfect example of how what works for others won’t always work for you. I had a lot of the same experience as you with school and work and practice and even after adjusting my windows I still struggled with it. I was using an app to help me out and I finally deleted it after realizing it just wasn’t working for me. I am happy though that this works for others, unfortunately it’s just not for everyone.

IF actually works great for me because I sometimes binge while rushing through hw at night. IF prevents me from binging since I can’t rly eat at night, and my lazy ass doesn’t like preparing food in the morning either. Not too big of a commitment for me personally.

First week is definitely an adaptation period before your body gets used to ketosis. The real results, benefits both physical and mental come later on! Fasted concentration is a thing!🧐😃

If been doing some type of intermittent fasting for around a year now ( with exceptions like going out having a movie night or getting up very early for something) and my eating window is 12 hours ill just start from 11 to 13 ( since I usually go to bed around 1 and get up at 9/10) it feels very good to me and it always makes me feel full during my waking hours 🙂

I could never make the 8/16 work for me. It's so inconvenient. I also couldn't function without breakfast first thing in the morning, so I needed to stop eating at 3 pm which was just ridiculous, especially while working.

Intermittent fasting was among the worst things o tried out tbh. I felt like garbage. I do think everyone’s different. But I like having energy the whole day and I also prefer smaller meals. Every time I have a large meal I’m always like how the hell am I supposed to get back to work feeling like this?

As The Name Suggests June 22, 2021 - 10:44 am

I do intermittent fasting without any calories restrictions, and it's really not hard for me. I feel so so good and energetic, even more than before IF. I was very unmotivated and never worked out or even take a walk longer than 15 minutes before IF, but after 3 months of IF I started wanting to run. Like, just suddenly one day the thought popped in my head.

Trigger warning don't read if you are recovering from ED and or body image issue:

I also lost 25 kg in 2 years of IF. I never limit my food sources or even thinking about healthy or unhealthy food. I just eat what I want to eat, literally. There are some days where I only wanted to eat carbs, some days where I only wanted to eat meat and some days where I just wanted to eat coleslaw.

I tried IF but it doesn't feel intuitive, natural, or sustainable long term. To each their own, though!
