This is a great science experiment. Body weight squats with no resistance don’t make muscles grow. They’re good for athletic endurance of the muscle and some strength. Hypertrophy or enlargement of the muscle comes from increased weights and resistance and mind to muscle connection of the squat. Also increasing volume which is sets times reps.
If you want to increase the muscle glute size and lose body fat (slowly at 1 pound per week), then do squats with added resistance and volume. If you want to a bigger glute with even slower weight loss, use resistance training that nearly isolates the glutes completely.

If you are trying to lose body fat around the gut, squats and lunges with heavy resistance will stimulate the resting metabolism so well you will look better in the butt simultaneously.

The only thing I'd recommend would be adding weights to the squats, I personally just do biking to maintain my legs, but I don't actually really sit on the bike seat, it's all leg pumping.
From what I know, it sounds like you toned, and added endurance.

Regardless of all that, I appreciate your honesty, and am proud of you random person, for sticking to the challenge, and following through it.

Her butt didn’t transform but I bet her glute strength and mobility increased and probably had a moment where she realized that she’s moving extremely well with balance and quick recovery movements.

100 bodyweight squats a day and you think you will grow booty? 100 squats is an easy warm up. And mostly is for quads/legs.

I got a trauma a year ago and had to heal for six months bcs of doing squats,so everyone should mind the risks and stop immediately if you feel uncomfortable

Will squats help you get stronger legs? I'm a figure skater so I need to have strong legs to jump high enough etc.
