Greg is a total deuce. Most of his videos are stupid and pointless. He doesn't know how to produce real content so he makes money by shitting on everyone. That book of his isn't worth more than $10 bucks lol

Nuclei overload training in a nut shell = training works. more training works more. shocking… greg is right, complete b.s., it's not drama. but if you want to call it secret quantum nuclei optimization youre free to do so. "Nuclei overload training", basically heavy functional overreaching for a period, has been known in sports science for decades. It used to be go by different names, such as "crash training"… the team 3d guys are the fools pretending to have re-invente the wheel. Buzzword, nothing more….

What would be the best way to get to a goal of being able to do a hundred push-ups a day in one set. Or is that too high of a bar?. My max buzz have been ones that are about 20 to 25.
Obviously using free weights would help increase the strength to be able to do that many push-ups but it did obtainable just using bodyweight? Im 6 1 and 150 lb

Yea he bashes hitt cardio training as well. He doesn’t understand that programs like insanity is the way we do hitt training for weight loss when referring to hitt workouts. Not sprint 10-30 seconds (rest 3-5 mins and repeat)

Greg is fake, just a toxic person. also for you to get results as a natural for how long you being training is very smart. What I do upper body and lower body two times a week with a weak muscles 5 days a week. Just 1 set for 20 reps

Did you achieve a OAC/OAP? with doing that high volume everyday. OAC/OAP stance for One arm chin up/One arm pull up because i heard of some very few people achieving a One arm pull up with little to no direct work not even though weighted chin ups/weighted pull ups just the bodyweight basics through high volume

You're not suppose to smash your muscles every work out with Nucleus Overload… you don't go to failure, you go for a huge pump and train the muscle to get a bigger and bigger pump. But you want to leave fuel in the tank so you don't atrophy when you do it. It's all about the pump. You want to do between 15 – 30 reps and 3 – 4 sets. When you can do that comfortably and not be sore the next day, increase the weight. Then after 6 weeks – 3 months, take a break where you don't work out (AT ALL). The break should last between 1 – 2 weeks… Then do the Nucleus Overload training again just like before… After that break and when you start training again is when you get most of the gains. The body needs that break though.

It does work. I did 200 back extensions a day for a month. Went from no muscle back there to being able to see my erectus spinae thick. Used to workout seriously in high school, never gained muscle that fast.

Old Timers like Eugen Sandow did the same thing with one set for reps with 5- 10 pound dumbbells

Greg Doucette always ignores my post asking him to explain how guys like Eugen Sandow got jacked from daily training if nuclei overload does not work 😒

I always thought that taking an extended break or "untraining" would help, and I was called names for it. Maybe not in the exact same context but my way of thinking was that it reactivated some kind of gains akin to newbie gains. Say for example you train bodybuilding for 3 years, then you take 6 months off to do martial arts or swimming or something else. Then you go back to bodybuilding. Obviously over the 6 months you maybe lost some muscle and so some of the gains when you come back will be due to muscle memory but I would also say even after the muscle memory phase, you will still experience more growth than you did when you quit.

My legs are one of my strongest points and I don't even train them anymore. But over 3 years in HS, I trained them everyday basically through track and cross country. So when I hit the gym for the first time and started doing legs, they exploaded and it really follows the principles of this video I think.

I didn’t think what I was doing already had a name 😎 I basically pick 6-10 different lifts/workouts and do 100 of each every day. I’ve only taken one rest day this last 16 days and I just make sure I don’t lift to heavy when I am more sore. I’m getting back into shape right now and am just trying to progress as fast as possible. I have muscle memory from before my 2 broken bones 3 years ago and I’m finally healed and strong enough to put weight on my elbow and rib cage so I’m going light and high reps to build strength

Do you recommend targeting the different heads throughout the 30 days so for example when doing biceps, day 1 I would to regular dumbbell curls then day 2 do incline dumbbell curls, then day 3 do dumbbell concentration curls then day 4 do dumbbell hammer curls, then rinse and repeat throughout the whole 30 days?

Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer

Cheers

So if you're a construction worker or a labourer let me just say your body doesn't adapt. It gets destroyed. Most people who I've ever known which is a lot in Australia who have those jobs are strong sure. But their bodies are screwed
