Yes I don't have a foam roller so I used a tennis ball on the floor/chair to relax/roll out my hamstrings and calves. But with a tennis ball you can't really reach the inner thigh muscles so when lockdown ends I'll be investing in a foam roller. I sometimes tightly roll up my foam yoga mat and use that for rolling my back but its not the same. I'd definitely recommend everyone young and old to buy a foam roller. You'll be a new person after the experience! lol 😀 I also realised it IS a workout because you need to engage your core ab muscles and arms to elevate yourself off the floor/mat.
