I stop binging by stabing my hand. Everytime I reach for that nutella I stab it. Works wonders!
I think your ideas are great for how to deal with binging.
I have found Stress; is a huge factor emotionally eating & dehydration can also be mistaken for hunger… to me if a person is binge eating it would be 5 burgers, packet of biscuits, 2 litres of soft drink and a tub of ice cream in one sitting and several times a week, If that is the case professional help (dietitian, fitness coach, GP) would definitely be something to look into.

4. Find another distraction
5. Chew on Gum
6. Record your indulges
7. Eat breakfast daily
8. Don’t go on restricted diets
9. Get active
10. Learn to love and forgive yourself

i love rice and i sometimes binge on it….would it be bad? i really just can't stop once i eat it ….help please 😥…..i pretty much don't care about cakes, pizzas or other …its just a rice with side dishes but the problem is i sometimes can't stop eating cos i really love it …. would it be too bad?….i mean would it make me fat or gain weight? please help someone 🙏🙏🙏😥😥

5'1F. Just realized that I have binge eating. I binge until I get to 1700 calories (200 extra calories from TDEE) and is like my body takes food and shoves it into my mouth. I want to eat 1280 calories per day.

Hi Joanna I've gradually decreased chocolate craving by first doing 3/4th of the bar, 1/2 of a bar, then a piece of a bar etc.
Those who find it difficult, I recommend you to opt for tasty healthy foods first to substitute for binge eating if you are unable to control it, that helps to decrease sugar dependency. I limited my sugar intake to 1-2 teaspoons a day and I'm able to control for now. I'll update in a month whether I stay consistent with this.

some of my family members dont want to listen, my friends r all gone moved away or just have a different life style, counseling I got insulted by 2 psychotherapists. Bad luck here. So I try to knit, walk , meditate. Its hard to do this alone.
