What about doing it behind you head
I can't pick up the bar haha. My shoulders won't bend that far without a risk of injury. It hurts to even pick up an empty bar. Am I the only one?

Soo I'm a beginner to this I was doing 15 each side I would do 10 reps 5 sets each day now if I do them I feel pain on my shoulders idk why and maybe I thought it was the weight I lower it down to 10 and it still hurts

I do it with the bench seat facing the other way tho because if I try to lift off like normal I keep hitting my j cups

I would like to note that i tried this at a perpendicular angle for 8 weeks. I couldn't make any gains! i tried having the back rest at more vertiginous angle probably 80 degrees, with my back slightly arched as i cannot arche my back as much as you. And i went from pressing 40kg for 8 reps to pressing 70kg for 8 reps in 7 weeks. Point being barbell shoulder pressing at 90 degrees is not necessary superior than pressing at 75-80 degrees everyone's built differently.

Hey Scott great video.. i have got a question. What is the best position of the elbows when doing this exercise? Some trainers suggest me to point them forward so to get maximum effect on the front deltoid. But I get the discomfort while pointing them out..

Should you do this on chest day after finishing triceps exercices or before finishing trices?
Guys, save yourself an injury. Do not go all the way down, go down to where your elbows are parallel or slightly below, enough for a squeeze of the shoulders. This type of motion puts a lot of stress on the shoulder joints.

I would never ever suggest lowering on top of the chest… it would be way much better to stop at chin. There are many good reasons for that….
