ive had both of my hands broken when i was younger and sometimes my wrist hurt when i do certain exercise like push ups and stuff like that could i use this to strengthen my wrists? and would it be wise for me to do this exercise?
You can hurt yourself doing that
@PrinceVon001 I have found that doing pushups with your hands in fists with you knuckles on the ground is easier on the wrists. Maybe you could try doing that for a while to build wrist strength.
In general wrist curls are good for and strengthen the wrists unless performed with to high of a weight. I would say that for this exercise, lower weights and higher reps are what to aim for.

It is not, we have the same bars at our gym and the weight you see is the weight it is. That bar is 30 pounds.

@7thCavScout I had a wrist surgery not so long ago. I recommend low weight, moderate reps until you feel confident and have consulted your orthopedic surgeon

When I try them, I do EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! what Scott just showed us but yet I can’t keep my forearms stable when resting them in my thighs and it hurts and strains my wrists so fucking bad. Idk what to do, I wouldn’t even be able to figure out how to do this properly even if someone pointed a gun at my head and said that they’re gonna shoot me if I don’t do a proper wrist curl
