I posted a video of how I do pull ups. If I can do them anyone can do them. Start with 1 pull up and build on that. Jack Burton taught me how to do them.
At the beginning of June, I could only do 4 wide grip pull ups. Now I can do 10-12 (depending on if I worked out the day before). The thing that helped me the most? Adding a forearm workout on my arm days. My forearm strength was really lacking and holding me back from progressing, so I had to do something about it! Now I'm working on my lacking triceps to increase my close-grip bench press.
Would a soda and 4 scoops of Muscle Milk be a good post-workout?

To be very particular I'd alternate
By reverse pull ups, you start with your chin at the bar and slowly let yourself down smarty pants

i notice that if you really focus on your lats on doing the majority of the pulling you will be able to do more and activate more muscle fibers : )

Cool tips! Another thing you can do if you don't have the funds for those rubber bands, is do slow negatives. I did these and went from being able to do 0 to 3 sets of 8!
