I have done these twice now and I have to say my arms feel like they are about to EXPLODE! I do them as my last exercise before leaving the gym, I loose all functionality, grip and hold, BUT my arms look amazing. Scott! if I am not allowed into the gym again cos of my MASSIVE GUNS I will sue you!!! lmao:)

I just tried this today at the end of my pull routine. Holy crap! My arms feel huge right now! Lol. I feel like a bitch but I just did it with a barbell with no weight so only 45 lbs but I nailed my biceps in the beginning of my workout already so I used this as a finisher. I can normally curl 45 lb dumbells for reps but using just the bar and hammering through all 3 of these with no rest was hard!
Does this have to be a barbell or can it be a straight curl bar? I feel every barbell is being used constantly when I hit the gym

Nice! I have been doing all these for some time now. I am doing this with an Ez bar and I started this as a variation to the 21s. At the end of 3 sets of doing all 3, I feel like my biceps are being torn apart and yes this is the last thing I do in my workout too.

I just did it with 30 pounds (normally curl 60) and my arms are still sore – about an hour later. Now this is the s**t!

Psssh. I add 10 reverse curls and do the "Oh Lordy 40's!!" You gotta do them with a full 7 ft barbell, front and center of the gym (or squat rack for extra points), using everything you got (specifically ego, whole lots of ego)!
What if i cant do all 30 reps and im not strong enough. If i do want to do this at the end of my work out should i do any back exercises prior to it.

I tried these today….OH MY WORD…2 words…lit up!! At the end of the 2nd set, I thought I was going to cry! lol It was all I could do to push through that last set! Good job on this exercise!! I will def be adding this to my lifting routine! BTW, not to mention the looks I was getting in the gym…loved it!
