More ways to get a bigger chest:
Are you finding it hard to build a bigger upper chest? This is most likely because you are not using exercises that target how the chest actually works in your attempt to build it. The chest and the upper chest respond to more than just bench presses, pushups, dips and flys. In fact, in this video I’m going to show you a new way to train your chest to build it bigger and stronger with just a pair of dumbbells.
This chest exercise might be considered the ultimate chest exercise by some since it targets the main functions of the chest muscle. I’m talking about horizontal adduction and adduction of the shoulder, combined with the normal pressing action that you are familiar with. By combining elements of the guillotine press, we are also able to more effectively target the upper chest specifically by bringing the dumbbells closer to the neck (without endangering the shoulders or your own safety with a barbell near your neck!)
Learning how to get a bigger upper chest just takes a more scientific approach to your workouts. A true chest workout built around biomechanics will always win out over a chest workout that is based in bro science or the advice a local “weekend certification” personal trainer will give you.
When you’re ready to build more than just a bigger chest, then head over to and put the science back in strength for good. Target your shoulders, legs, biceps, back and arms along with your chest as you carve out an athletic physique from head to toe.

Best chestercise
Great sir
Jeff, would a decline push up with hands in close together be the same as what you just showed us? I normally keep my hands shoulder width apart.
I felt more pain in the triceps then in the chest
Only one of these toasters is possessed by the Devil. Find out which.
Damn, Im from the future, and this is like watching Dwayne Johnson go through puberty
He's look younger in 2019 ,I feel I came from the future 😂, come with me if you want to lift 🤣
Woah this is old lol
seems like an abroller would work some of the same muscles
It was only this video that I realize overhead press works the upper outer near shoulder area of the chest
Wow this video is so old but I learned so much not going to neglect your old videos from now on
OMG this is so informative this solved many of my areas of confusion
Now I understand the bench angles without memorizing stupid numbers that others give and now I have a new learning approach to learn which area what exercise works and WHY. You got me reasoning and visualizing for example where the center of gravity hits rather than just saying chest you got me thinking and actually be able to think for myself
I’m going to do this exercise today sounds good
I do this in a kneeling position with my landmine. It’s a killer upper chest workout.
This is the pre version of Jeff
What degree should my toasters be? Warm or cool?
How does this differ from an inclined Sven Press?
Dumbells at my gym are round, can i use the cables to do this? Ill try it tomorrow but curious if anyone has already done it
Thank you!
Damn. Vintage Jeff made me poke myself in the eyeball with my dumbbell.
Hi Jeff, you posted this 7 years ago, do you still believe this workout is an effective means for developing the upper chest?? I haven’t seen this one pop up in any recent videos so I’m wondering if you’ve learned something new or better
Due to COVID -19 stay at home fiasco, I’m going through Jeff’s older videos. At 2020 he is older, but looks younger and fitter.
Where are the magic markers?
Jeff was boring at that time😂 but always a badass
Jeff is and was thicc
Damn these fucker talks to much. Get to the point.
Your the best. Every time I watch your videos, Your explanations make the light bulb turn on in my head.
Amazing
Couldn’t tell this video was 8 years old till I saw when it was posted
i kind of miss dungeon Jeff.
Good caution about shoulder health – looks like same grip as the narrow grips of a swiss barbell ?? could that be used instead ?? thought narrow grip like that would hurt the wrist ??
a thankful audience, for being unable !!! but ammm an oldtimer
