I would disagree with frequency being a must. I know what the studies etc say but im my own personal experience have found once the chest gets to a certain size hitting it with a killer workout utilising drop sets and other intensity techniques once per week is a good way to build the chest. Ive found if just starting out then frequency is a must but past that i like to cycle between frequency and volume every few months. In the past i got up to my genetic potential with an emphasis on only working each muscle group once per week in the last 5 years of my training

Hi Matt, long shot that you’ll reply to this as I know it’s not your area but I’m a footballer trying to bulk to build muscle then cut so it’s lean, I’m 5”9 and naturally very skinny, I’ve been bulking around 2 weeks and have made it to 9st 4lb from around 8st 10lb, this was through mainly a clean bulk but also some mince pies. What weight do you reckon I should get to before I start cutting. Also if anyone else could offer advice that’d be great!

The way the camera cuts angle and shot every second is really really annoying, you can't see what's going on other than the camera flyes all over the place, zooming too much and twisting around, cutting to different exercises every second. it's hard to keep up
