How To Front Lever (Front Lever Tutorial)
Barstarzz Chris breaks down how he learned the front lever. The front lever is a move that requires full body tension but mainly recruits your core muscles and lats. Retract your scapula when performing the front lever. Keep your shoulder blades rolled back and tucked in. Lean back as your doing the front lever. Your body should be completely straight. Should be able to go at least 10-15 pull ups, 10-15 knee raises, and 8 leg raises before training for the front lever.

Progressinos in every video mostly. New tutorials should add up new exercises, like combinations, different progressions, talk about muscles being used, which require more, etc, so it's more helpful for begginers. Anyways, good video. 🙂

Requirements should be WAY more than just 10-15 knee raises and 8 leg raises. What about lower back requirements? And why are the examples shown so poorly/quickly? Barstarzz you have let me down.

I wonder if I too light or what, but I feel no tension when doing this exercise, like it's a motion that moves through without really exerting much force o.o

Reply
expatinasia April 12, 2014 - 12:54 pm

perhaps it has been answered, but:

1) how often and for how long do you do each step?

2) roughly how much time do you spend on each step before progressing to the next level?

thank you for the videos

Yeah, I have to agree with most of what people already said about Chris…..
He seems to be able to get his point across slowly so that anyone can understand.
Personally, though there are many tutorials out, I'd love to see Chris do a muscle up tutorial.  Peace!
