Hi Scott, I have heard theories that we should keep our neck up, suspended in air (To achive a neutral position), while doing the incline dumbell press. Is this recommended?

Hey Scott can you do the incline press with the seat flat and just adjust the back part of the bench? It's easier to find the right angle that way.
