I'm new to the lifting scene and have no idea where to put the bar on my back, I've had to go to my chiropractor a few times because of spinal pain and he says if I keep squatting how I am I have a very high chance of breaking off a tip of some of my vertebrae, any help or suggestions is welcome
I went from a tiny 140 to 186 with 10 percent body fat thanks to watching how to lifts by this guy! He is amazing

Hi Scott when I’m doing Barbell Squats the weight hurts the
area below cervical (area between shoulders) is there any other excises I can do

I found it better to not breathe out until you are past the sticking point. This way you maintain your internal pressure and brace your midline during descent and the initial phase of the ascent. I’m not saying to hold you’re breathe the entire time, but hold it till you get past the sticking point and then slowly let it out. This helps for the heavier weights especially.

If i squat that low, even without a bar, my left kneecap pops out and I can barely walk for a week
