1) WHO do you want to be?
Your idea of an ideal life spent should be your own, not somebody else's.
Start doing what makes you happy, fulfilled and content, what makes you look forward to living life.

2) Small steps will take you a million miles.
Have a goal in mind, a destination? Start with taking baby steps.
And remember that it is okay to suck ("Fall down seven times, stand up eighth"). Just keep moving ahead with those small baby steps.

3) Take the pressure off of yourself.
Too much pressure and over thinking can hinder you instead of letting you grow. Sometimes competion can be really helpful, but not everyone needs that pressure all the time.
When you truly enjoy something, you just get things done. So find your motivator (like for Natacha, it's JOY).
If you've tried and tried and tried and it's still not working for you, it's probably not meant for you. Or, tweak it to a version that works for you.

4) Calculate + Jump
Take calculated risks. Ask yourself – what's the worst that could happen? And if you think long enough, you'll realise that you can probably survive it. ("If you don't risk anything, you risk even more").
If you're hesitant to take the plunge, ask yourself if you can live with the regret of not doing it.

5) Nailing the basics.
Like a good night's sleep; healthy and tasty nutrition; the people you surround yourselves with (who make you a better version of yourself); and the environment (positive).
Having all these puts you in a really good place to think clearly. But, don't force perfection. It's okay if it's not always on point. They are just really good foundations to work with.

6) Don't duplicate.
From all that you see and learn, take the information for inspiration, not duplication.
Just because someone does it a certain way doesn't mean you have to, too. Find what works for you the best and stick to it.

To summarise, start from #5 nailing the basics and #1 figuring out WHO do you want to be and then go from there.

This video is so good! Redefining "success" for yourself is SO key to figuring out who you are meant to be. Finding and reading "The Four Agreements" helped me understand who I "wanted to be" was based on others' agreements and projections in my life. Now I have my own agreements and life is good! Have you read it? So good!

That's the worst intro ever. "I was so successful at 21! If you're older than that you're f@@cked!"

This really hit me, spoke straight to my heart. I started a doctoral program a couple of months and have been feeling everything you described and like I'm being chipped away by the pressure I'm putting on myself. I was meant to come across your channel last week, go down a rabbit hole of watching your videos, to end up at this one <3 it's so difficult and so often that we know something needs to change but we can't pinpoint what it is. This is what I needed to hear, you are so great for sharing it.

Immensely useful! I completely relate to think clearly and be able to hear your inner voice by covering the basics. I haven’t found yet what I love but I’m on my way and I will bring this with me for next year. Thank you for inspiring me and moving beyond the shallow layer of things. ♥️

You have been the biggest inspiration and support to me the past month and I've never even met you – it's all through watching videos you recorded before I knew you existed. Thank you so much. I am so grateful to you.

Thank you for this video! I am finally finishing my masters and I have an idea of what I like and I am passionate about…but I don't even know where to begin and the pressure just takes all the motivation out of me. I understand now why! Baby steps. You have such great energy . Keep it up

I just discovered Natacha's channel and wish I had discovered it years ago! She's so genuinely and humbly inspiring, thoughtful and eloquent. I admire Natacha's willingness to trying ANYTHING! I was a ballet dancer for many years and was so unwilling to try other styles of dance and mobility that I think it hindered my training. Watching her nail those chaîné turns as a first-timer (and with a huge smile on her face!) made my heart sing! I was laid off from my job last week and am in a period of deep contemplation about what I truly want to do with my life. I'm grateful for all your advice and am taking it ALL to heart. THANK YOU, NATACHA!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Step 1: never go to college lol
JK! But to be honest, the majority of the people I know who haven't got a degree are significantly less stressed out and happy with their 9 to 5 jobs. I guess some of them will regret not going to college later in life, though.

Only halfway done the video, but I have to say I 100% agree with how you said finding joy in what you’re doing is the biggest motivator. It’s so true, when you love what you’re doing even if it’s frustrating (like learning a new skill or moving your body) you’ll be able to stay consistent and actually be happy rather than disciplined and feeling bad when you fall short. Joy is everything, life is too short!

I've always thought that ballet and gymnastics are things you have to start in your childhood otherwise you can't learn/master it flexible but apparently I was wrong.

I have a full time job and recently started studying. I am really struggling with finding a good daily/weekly routine. Please can you share a video about how you managed to balance doing your PhD while working.

I love fitness and genuinely believe that if I made time to exercise, I would feel better and have more energy but finding balance is proving to be insanely difficult.
