Thanks for all the kind messages on Instagram and on my last video. Sorry it’s taken awhile for me to talk about it. I’ve been too traumatised to even look at my leg. It’s gotten better and I hope it will continue to heal. It’ll take several months to full heal, and even still it may end up with a scar which I’m okay with I guess. Thanks for watching!

Owwww – – the same thing happened to me in December '12, to the exact same leg. I was stoned, and weak, and the kettle shook in my hand as I poured into my tea cup. My wrist could not support the kettle and gave in. And Splash! I felt nothing for a minute, and from one moment to the next, the pain escalated.
I went to the hospital, where I sat under running water for two whole hours. I basically had a second degree burn from that incident. I could not walk for a week and a half, and I had to wear a bandaid for two whole weeks. :L
My mom sent me rosehip oil and a vitamin E salve. It helped a bit with the scarring!
I am experiencing this exact problem right now 😢😭. Exact location on the leg and even giving me fever right now

Water is not good for burns! So sorry for the pain. My daughter did this to her stomach. It was awful. 😥
I've burned my face once with oil, I ran for cold water, my pain wasn't intense thanks this

Oh nooo, I just saw this video because you mentioned it in one of your more recent ones, Where I'm from and in my cooking field they don't recommend putting cold water on burns because it immediately blisters and isn't beneficial until the healing process already started, The aloe vera was a great idea though, it's good you had some there, I'm amazed that was classified only as second degree where your located, we would've considered it third degree because of the flesh coming off, thankfully skin has layers that we can most of the time grow back!

I know I’m late but omg you poor thing I believe in the evil eye 🧿 it’s real as you said so many people compliment you on your legs your beautiful skin enough to give off the evil eye.. it looks so painfull hope it’s all healed now pls no more kettles on the washing machine..
I burned my leg in the same place when I was a kid. I was boiling a pot of water to make macaroni dinner and went to the sink to drain it. I ended up dumping the whole pot of boiling water on my leg. I was in so much pain. Had 2 degree and 3rd degree burns. They put cream on my leg with gauze and gave me pain killers. I do still have a couple of scars where it blistered but it has faded over the years. I heard that micro needling is supposed to work great for reducing the appearance of scars so maybe look into that if you notice your scars are noticeable.

Ahh guys you don't understand how painful it is . And the thing that the whole kettle water poured on her thigh. Gosh that would have been so damn painful and hard to handle . This summer I got to experience this bad thing. I dropped a cup of tea with newly boiled water on my one thigh as well. That was so bad I can't even describe it . It was like someone was cutting my leg or something ,I have never felt that pain before . And the thing that I was at beach for a week that time. And that accident happened the first day of my rest week. And just imagine everyday I had to swim with that leg and walk under the hot damn sun . That was insane . But thankfully my burnt wasn't as bad as Chloe's so I am rly sorry for her . She is a really strong woman. In my case the process was the same first I wanted to pour some cold water on it but stupid me rubbed it so my skin came off. That was rly disgusting and then it got worse . But it didn't blood like Chloes thigh. I wish no one gets to experience this . And for those who are burnt -dont be upset it is just for some time.

I had the same thing happened but a different story l was bringing a hot tea and then my sister accedantly closed the door and the hot water went landed in my thigh l was 11 years old and it hurted soo badd

That is seriously a nightmare for you, I can't even imagine everything went so bad. But I have a question for you : At Tokyo airport, why couldn't you explain your situation to the airport authority and I am sure they would have some nurse/doctor in the airport somewhere to tend to your wound? It is Japan, not some rural corner in Africa. I just cannot understand how nobody can tend to your wound and you had to wait for hours to be in the hotel to change the dressing. That is really madness IMO.
